BJJ for Veterans

There have been some recent news stories identifying BJJ as a major tool in the fight against PTSD.  One particular study in Tampa, FL in conjunction with USF Health, is embarking on a 5-month examination of the scientific effects of BBJ on PTSD.  Alison Willing, one of the lead researchers in the study and a USF Health professor, said the study came together when many veterans who train at Tampa Jiu Jitsu reported the benefits they saw from the martial art for their PTSD symptoms.
